Join us this Thursday, October 11th, at 9:00 a.m. in the Media Center for a general PTSA Meeting and Human Trafficking presentation.
We will approve the budget, as well as discuss student participation in the PTSA and upcoming events.
Jean Tong-Noon and Erica Watts of Thread of Life International will provide a brief 30-45 minute presentation and discuss how to keep our kids safe from Human Trafficking.
Florida has the third most reported cases of human trafficking in the United States. Fort Lauderdale is the city with the most reported cases in the country! Thread of Life International seeks to spread awareness of the seriousness and pervasiveness of this crime by educating children, teenagers, and adults about ways to combat human trafficking.
